I love it. Bad boy ish works in Detroit. This is fun, as a former collegiate player I can attest to this being a part of the game! Talk a little trash, get into someone’s head. Just back it up win the Knicks come to town!

This is so stupid.  JR Smith has to be one of the biggest idiots in the NBA.  First he sends a grow up hashtag.  I can’t believe he had the nerve to recommend that to someone.  Second, he complains about subtweeting only to follow up with a subtweet.  Jennings deleted his tweet for the right reason.  Obviously he realized that it would probably go beyond basketball and tried not to have any part of it.  But this person retweeted because she wanted to make sure that it would not end there.  Are there any grown people who act like grown people anymore?  What is this fascination with acting like you’re fifteen when you’re over 30?

I know that I am kinda “old guy” here, but am I the only one who has no idea what Jennings said in that first tweet?

He is saying that he can’t believe that JR Smiths little brother is in the NBA, while two of Jennings friends aren’t. Suggesting that he believes that his two friends are better ball players that JR Smiths little brother.

I thought the exact same thing.  What the hell are they talking about?   I guess I am “old man” now.  This is my problem with twitter and how people use it,  You cant effectively communicate with people when you are speaking as if you are in your living room and in person.  It doesnt translate when it goes to the entire internet community.   Things are taken out of context, what people say is incredibly ignorant and just doesnt make sense.  I could not even follow that conversation.   Oh and while you are at it get off my lawn!

LMFAO that’s hilarious man, we must be old because I don’t think anybody else got that.
If this is the jibberish these guys are speaking it’s no wonder why they can’t learn how to play basketball the right way.

Jennings should shut up and learn when to be shoot-first. Get your bigs in the game to get things going. Spread the ball around. You have Andre Drummond and youre not trying to rack up your assist totals? He’s kind of spoiled to tell you the truth. Most NBA point guards would love to play lob with Andre Drummond- especially having Monroe and Smith. Get your shots in the fourth quarter when youre up. I like the fact that he scores when they need it, but its after he has them down and out. Needs better management as a floor general.
They also need to bench Smoove and Billups for Caldwell-Pope and Datome. Three point shooting is the key to this teams success and I think they’ll provide it. I like Smith playing power forward off the bench with Stuckey and Billups at that point.
On the article- dumb move. Quit going around picking fights. Work on being a real point guard- not a poor-man’s Iverson.

Jennings had 11 assist against OKC. When the offense if running properly AND PEOPLE HIT THEIR SHOTS. Jennings will wrack up the assist numbers. I take it you haven’t watched any of the games so far. NOBODY CAN MAKE A SHOT, so why should Jennings pass to them? I bet he lost all confidence in them. It’s not his fault. He’s in there balling, but nobody else is helping him out besides Monroe.
I bet if Stuckey, Smith, Singler, would consistently hit jumpers at a decent rate. Jennings would be averaging like 8+ assist by now. He is passing, he’s trying to make plays for his teammates. But nobody can knocked down a shot for him. Which forces him to become selfish. I don’t blame him.

He could have 30 assists but if we don’t win the game then it doesn’t really matter now does it. Jennings needs to grow up and let his actions speak for him. You know the old saying ‘actions speak louder than words’.

I know it’s about winning, I’m saying Jennings is doing his part. His teammates need to step up and hit shots. He’d have better assist numbers if guys weren’t shooting so poorly. And on top if that, the wins would come with it.

Jennings did nothing wrong, I don’t get why all you guys are dogging him. Chris Smith SHOULD NOT BE IN THE NBA. Jennings is right and is entitled to his opinion. J.R. is just taking offense and being a baby about it with his thuggish threats. The Knicks are over the luxury tax, and ARE PLAYING 2 MILLION FOR CHRIS SMITH TO PLAY IN THE D-LEAGUE. How ridiculous is that? He’s the most expensive D-League-er in history, and that’s no lie. All because of his brothers connections.
Honestly, back off of Jennings and let him be. And makes a point and is not wrong.

Yo, Some Dude, the larger problem is that B. Jennings is not focused on his primary responsibility as a starting, Pistons PG.

How can say that? He just finished a game and did what he could to help the team win. The pistons just went up against a superior opponent. So what if he has a little fun on twitter after the game. it was his own free time, not game time. He does his part on the court.

I totally get that point Dude…and its CRAY CRAY (and maybe slightly against some sort of rules) that the Knicks are dividing a salary over two players/brothers just to keep J.R. in town.  Seems like 1.) nepotism at its very definition 2.) a loop hole for salary figures 3.) Jennings is dead right.
    but, the point at hand
Trouble and contraversey finds Brandon Jennings.  He’s a fly in the ointment.  There is just something about a twerp like this that doesn’t create a lot of positivity.  Same thing with Josh Smith to a different end (he’s someone who cares a little too much sometimes)
I just think that these two have dark clouds around them that are fundamentally who they are.  Any change that fans are hoping for out of them for the better is probably not going to happen.
If those issues do turn around, then I will be a very happy, suprised Pistons fan.

I have watched every game. Jennings one good game so far is an abberation. It’s just not people not hitting their shots, it’s his on the ball defense and his shot selection at in opportune times which is contributing to these losses. Who gives a rip about what someone says on twitter which by the way rarely gives you anything to think about. Jennings should stop tweeting and play ball.

I blame all the loses on bad defense more so than bad shooting. I can see see why Jennings is shooting too much because nobody else can hit a shot. So I don’t blame him. if we had legitimate shooters on the team that could consistently hit shots. I’d be angry Jennings wasn’t dishing the rock. But I’m not. However the team is averaging over 100 points. Thats enough, but their losing because they can’t play D.

BTW you know if your not careful and you twitter too much you’ll turn into Charile Villanueva. Too me its funny how the most frequent users of twitter are the ones that have the worst ‘on court’ defence. To me if you want to talk trash then do it on the court and leave it there where it should be left. Somewhere some place Jordan, Bird, Barkely, Laimbeer and all the best trash talkers are disgusted with how these little princesses conduct themselves.
