Just a reminder that at least one thing will be amazing for the Pistons this season

The Pistons have plenty of question marks heading into the season. But I can say with 100 percent certainty that assistant coach Rasheed Wallace will be incredible and worth watching all season (hat tip, World of Isaac for the photo). This is not going to disappoint.

Drummond beasts again. Mitchell sucks until he makes a game winner.

Mitchell suck??? … he is just a high energy tries to rebound and block everything… Drummond was sucking up rebounds…. Mitchell get any …

Siva and Drummond looked like they been playing together for years….Excellent chemistry…

Last thing Sheed in a few days has done more for Drummond than Frank and Rogers did in a who year…

Drummond was playing with power in the post…even the quick spin moves and fakes that lead to alley-opps very Shaq like…

Those translate in summerleague…preaseason and the regular season…

Tries being the key word. Mitchell just wasn’t that good in this game. Don’t worry, I recognize that SL is pointless and I still really like Mitchell, but he did have a bad game.

He had 9 rebounds … and I think they said 7 was offensive…. 2 stls… defended his man… he get any blocks but he altered many shots… smh

Once again..high energy guy… He had a solid game

There’s more to it that stats, but even those don’t look good for him.

He hustled, but he was working hard instead of smart. His energy didn’t accomplish anything. And his shooting was atrocious. 25% from the field, 50% from the line.

That makes no sense , no one said he played grear but he was solid as a high energy guy

            But whatever

Wow Trey Burke is really sucking in the summer league. This is against rookies and D league talent. I wonder how he will manage to play against the big boys. Dumars is the boss. And yes KCP is better and played much better.

Not gonna bash Burke because he has that grittiness and he will adjust…. But Pope on ball defense is much better than I expect, I was wrong….he is a ball-hawk ….I’ve seen him get atleast 4 points per game in the last 2 games off of steals and deflection…

@Frank Agreed. His man can’t even drive the lane and if he did he ends up losing the ball.

Not so sure. Sucking in SL usually is bad for one’s career projection. Whereas owning in SL does not make you a superstar.

I’ve seen a few players look bad in summer league and turn out fine.  Ask me 20 – 30 games into the reg season.

I remember LBJ was looking bad even in preseason his rookie year and then about 15 games into the season he started to look like a stud.

Drummond did not suck … he only had one poor game against Kyle O’quinn…

Also in the last game after playing for 5 straight games…

I’d place the over/under at 0.5 since I’ve never heard of an assistant coach getting T’d up. But if one did, it would probably be Sheed.

Hi Tarsier, I see that you forget that in the ECF this year, the assistant coach of Indiana was T’d up just saying ” Ball Don’t Lie”.

Really? I don’t remember that. That’s hilarious. Sheed’s words get so many technicals that sometimes they land on other guys.

Assistant coaches getting techs doesn’t exactly make the news, Tarsier, but I’ve seen it happen during broadcasts on many an occasion.
