Why would be bring him back? Do we “need a bid who knows what he doing and can play some defense” to make the play offs? no we can’t make the playoffs regardless. Is there any reason to believe with Andre back next year there is going to be a need for Ben? no and if there was we could sign him then if he even waned to play. These last games are a great opportunity to get young guys PT against real competition in games. We need to be playing Slava more to get experience or at the very least if we are going to sign a big man it should be one from the D league to see if they have potential because they actually have a basketball future in front of them. I am a huge Ben Wallace fan, but I don’t even somewhat understand why anyone wants to see him taking minutes from young guys in a season that has long been a wash. If we signed him and started getting wins we would get a worse draft pick and have less of an idea where our young players development is that is all.

Why not bring him back? We need a big who knows what he’s doing and can play some defense, since we don’t have any of those. If we’re lucky, he’ll get some time with Moose, so that Moose can get more experience guarding power forwards instead of centers, as we wait for Andre to return.
