Anyone have an idea why Monroe wasn't on the floor for an offensive possession at the end? Frank kept putting him out there for rebounding on the foul shots & then pulled him for Charlie V on the offensive end.

What do you mean by saying he's "a scorer not a shooter"? Do you mean they're both inefficient scorers, or that they both do most of their scoring inside? Tyreke finishes at the rim at a much higher rate than Stuckey (Tyreke connects on 57% of his shots at the rim, Stuckey gets only 46%), and he takes fewer threes than Stuckey does (this is a good thing).

Stuckey already has to go. I'm not crazy about Evans' game but I wouldn't be all that upset if we got him. The reason why Stuckey doesn't work isn't his style of play so much as it's just Stuckey isn't that good.

Uh, you don't keep a good player on the bench so the second unit plays better. You start him & play the second unit as little as possible (see Heat, Miami for examples)

To I Hate Frank
My point in comparing Evans to Stuckey is that there is little pressure on Evans. He is a scorer not a shooter. He has the green light to shoot on a team which is going nowhere. Their styles are similar and I was using the term 2.0 as a descriptor of someone with a similar style of play(even a slight upgrade). He too is a combo guard albeit younger and perhaps a higher ceiling. if he were signed as a free agent, Stuckey would have to go because they both need the ball in their hands to be effective.
Thanks for the detailed answer you gabe to my statement.

I think one of the biggest reasons, among possible others, for not playing Drummond and Monroe for extended minutes is rebounding and defense.

The defense and rebounding of a 2nd unit of Maxiell, CV, Jerebco, Stuckey and Bynum probably would be suspect.

This might change after the trade deadline if the Pistons have a roster spot available and sign Ben Wallace for the rest of the season.

Tyreke Evans is SOOOO Way beyond Stuckey its silly to compare the two players....

Tyreke has already averaged 20ppg...Stuckey has not

Tyreke has only shot under 45% once in his career (I believe his injury year)...Stuckey has never shot 45% from the field

Tyreke has averaged close to 6 ast twice in his Career, Stucky best assist season is 5.2.....

Tryeke has averaged close to 5 every year in the league....Stuckey best rebounding season is 3.8

Tyreker also averages more Steals and Blks than Stuckey...

This year Tyreke is shooting 38% for 3's .....Stuckey best 3 point shooting season is 32%

I say all of that to say... HOW IN THE HELL IS TYREKE STUCKEY 2.0???

BTE: Tyreke is 23 wont turn 24 until September... Stuckey will be turning 27 in April!

Metta World Artest is clueless on a ton of things, BK7's position is just one of those things. lol. BK7 not only tried to keep him off the glass, he succeeded in doing so. That is probably why Ron Peace grabbed him by the back of his head and punched him on the chin. That's a good way to intimidate a smaller player. It didn't work.

So Drummond has been an unthinkably bad 5-26 from the line over the last 8 games. It's not so many lost points per game that it's really hurting the Pistons. But it's been killing many a fantasy team, I'm sure.

Metta World Peace praised Brandon Knight's toughness, but like the rest of us, MWP has no idea what Knight's natural position is:

"He's a small guy," World Peace said after finishing with eight points and nine rebounds in the win. "(Knight) was trying his hardest to keep me off him. He worked hard, man. That kid, I don't know where he's from, I don't know what school he went to, because he was guarding me and I was crashing the boards. He's a tough kid, man. He tried to keep me off the glass and he did a good job. That's all I can say. He's a tough kid, very great. He's a tough point guard or shooting guard or whatever he is."

Uh, Drummond played the last 14:26 of the game. He came in the 3rd with 2:26 left and stayed in through the entire 4th quarter. And he didn't look gassed to me at the end. He was yanking down rebounds, blocking shots, getting steals and running the break...
