Have you looked at the stats at all? Detroit is 17th in the league in FG%. The Pistons are below average, but barely. Shooting at a league average rate would increase their made field goals by about 0.75/game. That's enough to raise everyone's expected assist rate by 2%.

So if you are criticizing the Pistons and saying that is why Calderon averaged 4.3 apg instead of 4.4 apg, that's fine. I'll buy it.

But taking a 0.1 apg hit hardly seems enough to be worth complaining about.

Calderon's done a good job in Detroit. Nobody is saying otherwise (although the past week left something to be desired on the count of every Piston). But what is up with your insistence that PGs are just getting their stats demolished by Detroit's barely below average offense?

Maybe Lawrence Tank has secretly been under orders to make sure we keep the first round draft pick this year. Keeping Maxiel a starter ensured it. Genius!

Jason Maxiell should be the goat of the year. Can't stand the stupidity of Lawrence Frank to keep him as a starter. Whatever happened to player earning their playing times?
