Greg Monroe laughs off Michael-Kidd Gilchrist’s incredible dunk
Michael Kidd-Gilchrist dunked on Greg Monroe last night, and it was, well, just see for yourself:
To his credit, Monroe didn’t sound down about it – and he shouldn’t feel bad for helping on defense. Via David Mayo of MLive:
"I have to commend the team for not letting that change the momentum of the game," Monroe said, laughing at the recollection of his hoop facial.

Im Proud of Greg….In like last month he has averaged 1.5blks…he had 3 blks in that game….im happy that he even challenged Gilchrist…. i would have been pissed he pulled a Bosh and moved out the way…

Ditto. Every good defensive big gets dunked on from time to time. I’m glad to see him stepping up and trying to stop guys on defense. I hope this is a permanent change in his game.

Well, he had 10 of his 19 in the 4th leading to the win, so I think he’ll be able to sleep at night
