Did anyone notice a striking similarity to how Knight moved without the ball and fought through screens…kind of reminiscent of RIP. I’m just saying. Keep up the good work. Sounds like BK and Jose are developing a little bit of chemistry.

It’s a good game by Knight but people shouldn’t crown him anything based on one game. You have to judge his game holistically and with a larger sample size. The only thing consistent about him ,thus far in his pro career, has been his inconsistency; has a great game, disappears for three. No one is mis-taking his youth nor is he expected to be Chris Paul…some people are simply looking for signs of progression. I think it has come to the point where Knight needs to show he can string together a few solid games, doesn’t have to be a 30 pointer back-to-back-to-back mind you, but some progression. He has had enough pro-games under his belt to expect that; after all youth shouldn’t be an excuse for stagnation.

The 16 shot thing was already very thoroughly debunked by tarsier and G. He is not more efficient with 16 or more shots, because he is less efficient at everything over 16. He only shot better in games he took exactly 16 attempts, which in no way suggests he needs to shoot more unless you think it means he should always take 16 shots exactly.

My sentiments exactly. He’s played well at the 2 lately but, his last game at point he put up 20 and 10 so I’m not convinced that his hot streak lately is because of his move to the 2 as much as just him being in a groove overall. With that, I like him better at the 1 than the 2 in the long run as well. Right now, I’m just happy to watching him play at the level he’s been playing at lately. Hopefully he continues to light it up.
