watch most of the blazers' games, as a portland resident, and i have to say that rookie of the year is a tough call.
if there was ever a time for a co-rookie award, it would be this year.
drummond is who he is, and nothing more needs be said. he'd be a worthy recipient.
lilliard is amazing. he plays like chauncey played during his larry brown years, which is amazing, considering that he is a rookie.
you can tell he's watched a ton of chauncey billups games, cause he plays just like him. from the upright, deliberate dribble up court, to the quick, step-into-it 3 pointer before the defense sets.
he's much more explosive than chauncey, and not quite as big, but their games are eerily similar.
again, either guy deserves the award. i'm just happy that i'm living in portland, enjoying lilliard, while also watching drummond, from afar. a real treat.

Is it just me or where here a few players more deserving to go to the All-Star game over Chris Bosh? The Nets have been on fire as of late and Brook Lopez has been relatively healthy most of the year.

Yep, in my opinion Crawford should have been an All-star or at least in the conversation. Is it just me or where here a few players more deserving to go to the All-Star game over Chris Bosh? The Nets have been on fire as of late and Brrok Lopez has been relatively ealthy most of the year. Happy to see David Lee FINALLY getting much deerved recognition, along with Z-BO. Kevin Martin is quietly having himself a nice season in OKC though.
If it wasn't for the abundance of star big men on the west you could also make a case for Serge Ibaka and Demarcus Cousins...based off on the court play of course.

i understand and support the value of win shares. but, there is a problem with this list of candidates. Jamal Crawford is the overwhelming fan/pundit choice to win this award due to his high ppg. i agree that win shares are highly important in determining a player's impact on games. It seems obvious to me that, whether i agree with it or not, Crawford is the current front runner for this award.
