Brevity is good for the soul, so I'll keep this brief. Coach Frank is doing right by Andre. Why insist that he play more?

Hmmmm, its called sarcasm. Lighten up Worm, a little bit of brevity is good for the soul, or in this case, makes a crappy team have some entertaining value. Just millionaires playing a game, man.

1.) The Twolves would laugh and hang up. While we're at it, why doesn't Joe D call up Miami and try to get Lebron?
2.) Knight doesn't either but both Prince and Monroe are better facilitators at this point than Knight.
5.) On the bench because he isn't any good.
Also if you think Mr. D was responsible for the Billups signing, Hamilton/Wallace trades, and Prince pick then I'm sorry for you.

1. Bullwinkle needs a jumper. Watching him hold the ball 15ft from the net like a deer in headlights while the defense backs off him and dares him to shoot is painful. He causes all kinds of problems when he does that and clogs the paint. Thank god the Celtics are old and crap. Not a star, No.2 option at best. Trade him for K Love please.
2. The only reason Bynum appears to be effective is because he has the ball in his hands. He doesn't need to give it up to Bullwinkle or Prince so he is able to create which gives the appearance of point guardiness. While he has the ball, everyone just stands around waiting for the pass which never happens, ie Stuckey, and he drives and decides to lob or not lob to Dre. News flash, when the team effectively defends that play, like the Bulls will, Bynum will be rendered largely ineffective.
3. Do not care to rehash BW. Tired of stating the obvious.
4. Max sucks, again, tired of stating the obvious.
5. Where is JJ?
6. Still not a playoff team.
As the trade deadline looms, I have an overwhelming fear that no one will be traded and all will be signed to horrendous contract extensions. The ghost of Mr.D will come back and reveal himself as the true genius behind the championship teams. Please come back and save us. I propose we sacrifice Joe D.

I agree you are right they won't. They pay mediocre players ridiculous salaries but won't pop for a winning coach. I believe this team would have no problems making the playoffs if we had the correct coach. There are a few winning coaches and then there are the rest. When you hire second rate you get second rate coaching. I sure wish the Spurs would get tired of Pop and we could get him. The last 3 head coaches we hired are a bad joke and I love my Pistons.

Daye only got 4 mintues because he fouls too much and if he isn't scoring he just doesn't do much. He doesn't seem like a very bright guy. He doesn't focus if his shot isn't falling. Singler always plays hard on both ends of the floor and what he lacks in physical talent he makes up for with great court awareness and basketball savvy the Day just doesn't show consistently. Daye could get more minutes if Prince were injued and he has shown great offensive effectiveness with mor minutes but he is just one dimensional.

A) CV did not get $10M last year.

B) Even if he did, that would just mean he is overpaid. JVG for $10M would still not be a bargain.

C) I don't really care what the Pistons pay their coach because it doesn't affect their cap figure. But there is approximately a -300% chance that they employ a coach for 8 figures annually.

It basically comes down to the fact that the Pistons can live with 7 Knight TOs when Rondo coughs it up 9 times.

If we are talking draft, the obvious ideal candidates would be Shabazz or McElmore. Both could be go-to scorers, both with range and the athleticism to defend. Landing either would turn us into a prime Triangle team. Shabazz/McElmore in the Kobe role, Monroe in the Gasol role, and Drummond in the Bynum role. We would hopefully end up with better balance between the three, but still, it's an ideal use of our personnel.

It turns Knight into primarily a spot up threat from three, whose passing isn't stretched beyond it's ability, and who can focus more on being a great defender consistently. It also marginalizes the SF position so Tay's decline is masked, or so we can plug in a defender without messing up the offense.

If we can't get Shabazz or McElmore, Archie Goodwin is a big time scorer but with inconsistent range. Of the guys outside the top 5, he probably has the most potential to be a superstar.
