For the record I was always a fan of AA, Delfino and Amir. I was upset with both Aaron's and Amir's departure though. Ultimately we shipped out AA to trim $ for what turned out to be BG who is once again assigned bench duty and who isn't even the 1st player off the bench for the BOBCATS.That honor belongs to Ramon Sessions. We flipped that for Maggette, so hopefully it pays off this summer while AA is flourishing in Orlando and was arguably one of the top 2 players in Denver the last few seasons.
By the way I never said trade Knight, I just don't want to invest 3 to 4 years into him trying to MAKE him a PG, especially not option any ore feasible options at the point. I don't view him as untouchable if we can upgrade our team, heck I don't even view Moose as untouchable.

You hate Frank, so why would you think otherwise? Of course Frank isn't blameless and his job as coach is to put players in the best position to succeed on the court. Based on our record that hasnt been the case too many times. However, he is not on the court and it is the point guard's responsibility to be that secondary coach on the floor and to put the team in the best position to win. Make other's around him better, make smart decisions with the ball, find your teammates sweet spots, be that leader on the floor. So far, Knight has only shown us that in inconsistent flashes at a minimum, and most of that came during his rookie season. So we can blame the coach some, but Knight's improvement or lack of, falls mainly on his own shoulders.

I know I may sound like an impatient fan but many of us expect the best from our team. We may have been spoiled for a better part of the last 10 years but the last 3 have been very taxing as a fan. I will always support my Pistons as a team, and any moves or potential moves made to improve the product on the floor (TEAM).

That being said, I believe the only player to be viewed as untouchable on our squad is AWESOME DRE...

The next few moves Joe D makes will go a long way into setting the course for our future, another short. & long term.

FRANK IS THE PROBLEM NOT KNIGHT!

but I hope we just trade him, so that when he shines in another system...we can talk about him like we do Affalo, Delfino, Amir johnson

""I just don’t know how you know what is and isn’t be design. What is and isn’t drawn up. Knight has never seemed as aggressive as Bynum. Maybe he was drawn up to not be aggressive in college too. But that seems unlikely. And as little faith as I have in Frank, I gotta believe he’s smarter than to constantly draw up iso plays. Everyone knows that’s a terrible way to play.""
1. Its simple, because you watch what the other players do, they are not setting screens for him, and they arent spreading the floor or cuting to create passing lanes...He comes up and the balls goes to Prince or Monroe... I'll go a step further... Prince,Monroe and Maxiell are all 15feet and in players...Yes Prince can make the 3 ball, but he loves the mid range...because of that...Knight is forced to become a kickout option rather than a slasher or creator.... Im not making this up...u have to watch the same games I saw.... When Knight was scoring and going iso... "complaints came" probably Prince saying the ball wasnt moving enough.... So then Prince started playing Point forward and was horrible bring the ball up court....

""Besides, if Knight was especially timid coming out of timeouts and right off the bench, that would seem to point toward your theory. But most of the time on the court, teams aren’t working out a specifically drawn up play because a coach just can’t draw up a dozen plays and say, “Here’s what your doing for the next 12 times you get the ball. Then we’ll call a timeout and I’ll have a new set for you.”"

2. I hear you but its not true, the Pistons run the same plays...its almost predictable... its called set offense...players are in the same location everytime, and the coach is shouting plays from the side line....

Look we dont have to agree on Knight talent or skill level but you can not tell Bynum is more talented than Knight, in college knight was very aggressive, and got better as PG as the season when alot but the ball stayed in his hands... now they are taking the ball out of his hands...

@Vic ... most PG have turnover issues, but Knight does not have a chance to build his assist number...

maxiell jumpers have been horrible
Monroe Mid-range has been horrible
Singler has struggled for like the last month or so..
and when Prince gets it..I think he dribbles just to take the assist away from knight (conspiracy theory)

When Bynum is in the game its like Rucker Park... Loops for Drummond...Charlie,Stuckey and Daye shooting with no hestitation...

So one player assist to TO-ratio is going to look better

No Mark....,Brandon Knight is not the answer to PG. He is not even playing like the best guard on the team. He shouldn't even be starting for us right now. Wishful thinking is we make a deal for a veteran PG before the trade deadline. If, I say again IF the goal is to try to make a run at the playoffs this year. If not, then we will stand pat and sink or swim with BK hopes of claiming one more lottery pick this summer.

Frank has bobbled with the roation as though we are in the pre-season...

He is a X's and O's guy and NOT a very good one at that....but sometimes you need a guy that understands the pace of the game...

Almost half a season in and our idenity relate to the fact that most of our production comes from players on the bench that were not recieving minutes earlier in the year...

Knight has not developed
Monroe has not developed
Drummond has exceed their expectations

thats the core and future of the team...and you have no idea how to use them...I have been a big supporter of Joe..but for him to let this take place I question his leadership

I ask the question. Is Knight still the point guard of the future? I just don't see that much improvement. HE was horrible yesterday. I would deal for Marshall who is languishing in Phoenix.
