You say Daye or Maggette shouldnt be an option, but remember this is Frank we are talking about. He will be convinced that Daye will be the one and will give him a shot. Washington made him look like an actually NBA player for 10 minutes so that's all you need if your name is not Drummond to get extended minutes!

i said it before he is a shooter...and he is a good one... the problem is all shooter have rust when they dint play often or if they are not able to get into a rhythm...

Daye would be more valuable to us long term than trading him for a 2nd rd pick that will likely be protected, if we ever gave him a real opportunity

A win is a win I know, but I just feel like any win against thr winner should have an asterisk next to it

Ok so if Singler starts at SF then who starts at SG?? Its got to be between Stuckey and English. The problem you have with those 2 is that Stuckey requested to be on the 2nd unit and it wouldn't be fair to thrust English into a starting role when he hasn't even logged serious minutes for us since the pre season. And no Daye or Maggette at SG is not an option. Maybe Jerebko will start at SF and Singler will stay at SG. Even though none are at allstar level at least having an injury at SF is the position we have covered the most.

This is why i like daye and cv if they play like this 85% to 90% of the time they both give this team much needed outside scoring. they need minutes at least too see if they can get it going on the offensive end. good game for those guys.

I think Tay's replacement is obvious, Singler. Hes already starting out of position and is most capable of handling the spot.

That said, Ive flopped back towards thinking Prince should stay with the Pistons. Hes playing better ball than last year, has taken a reduced role, and is more efficient with his play. I just think trading him at this point would be a little like the Lakers releasing Fisher for cap space.

I agree, what is going to happen next if Tay is gone for a while. Is coach Frank going to activate Maggattee to start at the SF? Who is going to step up? Who wants that starting SF the most? Singler, Jerebko, or Daye?

If Prince is gone for an extended amount of time then the SF spot just opened up for Singler, Jerebko and Daye. Who wants it more??

Did someone hypnotize Daye into thinking this was a pre-season game. If he keeps this form up then we might actually get something for him.

Maxiell and Lawrence Frank is a bad combo for this team. Maxiell is taking shots like he's the top scorer of the game. Lawrence loves him. Can't wait till next year when good samaritan Max is out of this team.
