sure, a better play, and a better mix of players would have been nice.
the shot itself still was a bad shot, imho. i think there was enough time to do more than what he did with the ball. a drive and kick to another player would always be a better shot, for example.
also, knight simply makes a lot of head-scratching plays that make you wonder about his BB IQ. just my opinion, but i am always surprised that he doesn't play smarter. if he played smarter, the transition to playing the point would not be as tough as it has been.
if he was simply regarded as a player of average intelligence, it would be one thing.
but almost every story on him always touts his intelligence. i'm still waiting to actually see proof of it on the court.

I agree Stuckey sucked today. All I am saying is 2 games have been played by a team whose realistic expectations are flirting with an 8 seed. With a team as young as ours we can't be surprised they play dumb for stretches. I agree drummond should play with Monroe but remember Knight came off the bench last year until he made Frank start him...Dollars to donuts the same happens this year.

Ok, L Frank is a dumb A$$ for not recognizing Monroe and Drummond needs to play together. Stuckey needs his A$$ kicked, I'm through with sticking up for him. Whats the use of all these guys practicing during the summer and playing like they never been on the court with one another before. These guys need to learn how to have fun when they play, it's to much thinking. Singler should be the shooting guard and English come off the bench, trade Stuckey and play Slava and Drummond at center, there big and they create space. Monroe plays too small for a center. Last year he surprised alot of people, this year teams are ready for him. Also Monroe's jumper stinks like Stucky, the team needs a shooting coach they shoot with no confidence.
Great Birthday Present Woopi

Only 2 positives this game

1. Knight actually looked like a legit NBA PG ...monroe and Stuckey missed some give mes that Knight set up ..and he still ended up with 10 ast...I've been saying it ..Knight Needs the ball in his hand period ...he is the most talent and creative offensive player we have ...

2. Drummond ...I can live with him make Shannon Brown and Telfir being forced to make reverse lay-up. I also learned that I HATE YOU FRANK!!! YOUR ROTATION SUCKS!!! I could careless if Maxiell scores 20 1st quater points because he didn't create that offense on his own, move Greg to PF and his production is the same .... I saw drummond @ C with Jerebko and Maxiell PF... But refused to put Monroe at PF ...sighs of a stubborn coach....

Franks won't be fired until we start 0-10 ...a part of me is hoping for 0-10

because its the same old thing, even with new and better talent. that shows that the problem is more systmic. is Frank going to lose 90 percent of his first games every year?
if so then bring on Laimbeer

I'm not saying to tank the season. What I'm saying is at the end of the season when it appears that we have no chance to make the playoffs rather than trying extremely hard to win every game we should do what other teams do to get a higher lottery pick. I know that it sounds bad but the system is flawed and rather than punish the teams that tank on purpose, the system rewards them generally. But what I'm saying is that either Stuckey needs to find consistently with a jumper or find another role other than SG since a SG should be able to at least have one of those.

Tough loss, but it's not all bad. Stuckey and Monroe typically produce on a much higher level than they did tonight, and we still only lost by three. Hopefully the coaching staff will get there heads out of their asses sooner rather than later. Don't give up hope yet, the seasons just starting!

Also, Knight putting up double digit assists only two games into the season is pretty encouraging. Seems like he really did take his off season seriously.

So if Stuckey hits 3 shots today and we win do you still post that we should tank the season?
