Singler is a master flopper!

Kidding aside, Singler is a stud. It really goes to show you the value of bringing in players that have been winners at every other level they’ve played at. Singler isn’t a rookie in any sense beyond this being his first season in the league. He’s a four year college player and has a year of overseas on the best team there.

KS doesn’t hesitate to shoot, or have to over think what he needs to try and do on the play at hand. He is a huge steal from last year’s draft.

Man, I had always hoped Stuckey would be part of the Detroit renaissance, but it looks like he’s a square peg in a round hole here. Hopefully in the 2013 draft we can grab a franchise-type 2-guard, b/c that’s the one spot we for sure need an upgrade (Knight may become a good NBA PG, Moose & Drummond should secure the paint, and Jerebko/Singler is an adequate SF rotation). Pickings out of college will be slim this year…maybe Shabazz Muhammed in the top 5, or Marcus Smart in the top 10…

By the way listening to most of these guys is why I stay off the freep message boards. Really Stuckey is why we been losing? Please, get a grip. Philly sucks more than Detroit and dont act like they didnt have Bynum in the lineup. Too funny. Just be happy they won and try not to take subtle digs at guys because you think we have found lightening in a bottle. Singler went to Duke, and played a year overseas so I would expect for him to play at a much higher level than most young guys on team right now. It is teh same way Jerebko played when he first became a Piston.

Also funny — how the couple of vocal complainers about Singler getting the starting spot tonight from earlier today have been strangely silent during tonight’s game. Jodi? Sebastian? Where you bros at tonight? Hey even blind squirrel can find a nut. Everyone on this blog should be mad as hell Detroit isn't sitting in the same position as Philly, a 500 team. To say that its on this player or that player is easy, when in fact we all know it boils down to coaching. Get the rotaions right and put an emphasis on defense and we could very well be 6-3. Maybe I am the eternal optimist but I believe they are better than what the record says. But like Bill Parcells says" You are what your record says you are"

Singler definitely just knows how to play. That spin move was strong. He shoots when he is supposed to. He has a high basketball IQ. He earned all of his playing time and a bit more tonight. Im happy for the first time this season.
