Terrence Williams signs in China after Pistons cut him

Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports:

Free agent guard Terrence Williams has agreed to a one-year deal with Guangdong in China, sources tell Y! Sports.

Williams is intriguing, especially at point guard, a position he hadn’t played before attending the Pistons’ training camp this fall. The Pistons will likely have more roster flexibility this summer, and it wouldn’t surprise me, given how fond Lawrence Frank is of him, if Williams gets another look from Detroit then. This year, there was just never room.

I’d be very happy to see Terrence Williams back here next year if there’s room for him.

I’d be happy if the headline said “Daye signs in China after Pistons cut him” instead of Terrence…
