Actually, that is not young-person-speak at all. It’s just a really old way of phrasing things. So people don’t talk like that anymore. So the problem is more that you’re too young or that Vic used outdated language.

The coaching staff is out thinking themselves into losing. The Houston Rockets played their youngest team since 1971 and just barely came together the day before and yet they beat us, because it’s a talent leaGue. You play your best players, and then coach from there.

Now James Harden has etched his legend at the Pistons expense, and other stars are marking their calendar and licking their chops to play against Pistons because they know they’ll be playing against Lawrence Frank’s brain instead of our best players. Okay I’m waxing a little sarcastic, but you get my point.
