I voted for JJ since him and Monroe have been the 2 best players day in and day out. Both have a few years of experience, so they aren't making as many mistakes as some of the rookies

Singler is starting to develope and I could see him moving into the starting lineup later in the season along with Drummond. I would like to see both of these guys getting increased minutes though.

He probably will be sent there, but D-League season hasn't started yet. Most training camps don't open until next week. They just held their draft last Friday.

They should send Middleton to the NBDL...the kid is not ready for the NBA and needs to play in order to grow. The bench is not going to help his game.

That's a really good point. If that is the case, then this organization is completely dysfunctional because it puts things in a position where veterans are playing over younger guys who may ultimately never realize their potential or realize it somewhere else as a result. End result: this would -- at best -- land us onto the mediocrity treadmill.

In my office we have this pool where 10 of us each get three teams to start the season off, top combined number of wins gets the prize money. We calculated draft position in such a way to guarantee decent parity (i.e. #1 pick suffers in the second and third rounds). Well, the Pistons were taken dead last (I picked start of the third round). The saddest part of the whole thing? I told everyone who picked after 24 they'd messed up because the Pistons never tank.

I voted for Singler and only Singler. While I love how he plays off the bench and the punch he provides, I think he rounds out the starting lineup quite well. Also, at this point it's hard to see a big gap between his and Tayshaun's production anyways.

I think Jerebko is a fantastic off the bench energy player and I have no problem with him continuing to fulfill that role. If the Pistons ever formed a formidable team, Jerebko could be perfect and impactful exactly where he is.

As for the Max/Drummond debate - I'm OK with Drummond coming off the bench at this point. Max has played pretty well on offense. Defense? Yeah, not so much. But I swear I don't think Drummond has made some huge defensive impact in his moments as others have. His positive plays have more to do with his physical superiority and I think it's clear that he has to gain a better feel for his defensive positioning before he can become a full time starter.

How do you get a better feel? I think that has to do with logging consistent minutes. But hey, can you blame Frank for playing those who give us the best chance of winning? Look at our record! So sure, 12 minutes here, 6 there. If Drummond's minutes are the cost of us losing by 8 rather than 15, well, you've got a fan in me.

As an aside. If Bledsoe becomes available later this season... Or Maynor... The grass is always greener and BK7 hasn't won me over yet.
