Great game overall by the squad. Te only negatives I can think of is not playing Drummond some of the other guys a little sooner int he 4th when we rebuilt our 20 point lead. 90 seconds isn't much time at all to make an impact or gain much confidence, Also, Brandon knight showed some of everything tonight. The only low for him was that all of his 7 rebounds and assists came in the first half and he had none in the second but the rest of the team was playing so well it wasn't necessary for him to be a playmaker. And it still looks like Moose is rushing a bit on his closer attempts. He had a couple of bunnies just rim out on him last night that could've given him another 5 or 7 points.

But, all in all, it as a great team effort and I'm hoping like hell that we can put another strong team effort together again tonight and not have any kind of a letdown in intensity.

Against faster guards you sub in Kim English, keep your floor spacing on offense, play thru Monroe

I meant defensively against wings. He was primarily a four at Duke. He's not quick enough to stay with most wings, but his long arms help make up for it.

Singler is not a SG, he did ok on an old Jason Richardson but he had all kinds of trouble staying with Kevin Martin. If Singler starts it should be for Prince. Stuckey to the bench for someone like English would be ok and we would have two guys who move without the ball and can space the floor with their 3 pt shooting. It also would help Monroe in the assist dept because you never see Prince making a hard cut where as Singler and English and even Jonas all will make hard cuts.

Haha. Aren't you adorable?

You act like Stuckey has been an All-Star or something. He's been awful for eight games, but it isn't like his peak is significantly higher. At his best, he's a slightly above average starter. Singler puts a floor-spacing shooter in the starting lineup and gives Knight more of a chance to sink or swim and hopefully develop as the team's primary ball-handler. Singler isn't a prototypical SG by any stretch, but Prince will match up against the opposing team's best wing anyway, whether that's a SG or SF, so they aren't even really hurt by him defensively. And Stuckey would still get big minutes as a backup combo guard who would fill in at all three perimeter positions. What's so wrong with that?

Hopefully this will open up Frank's eyes to who he should be playing and who should be sitting. Singler made the whole team play better, especially Knight. The two of them complemented each other where Stuckey and Knight seem to play inspite of each other.

OK, yeah that's what i was thinking as well. To get a good 2guard starter. However not sure allen or brewer are starting caliber, there defense is but not sure about the O. Martin i just am not a fan of his, injury prone and worst defense then stuckey. I think if sinlger proves hes starting quality player, then ok with the defensive first guys like allen, sefolosha, brewer. However i would like to see them take a chance on a guy like Evans, just from the fact he did avg 20+ in this league before so you he can do it, just can he still do it. I think the kings Organization holds him back some in his development. so a monroe, drummond, sinlger, evans, knight lineup could be pretty effective. At backup pg i like Maynor from okc. Would like the pick up of millsap to be 6th man of year type of guy, behind drummond/monroe. But totally agree with your positions of need, SG, Backup PG. Not sure about josh smith as he would look to start and with drummond/monre he is not starting. Milsap i think would be ok with coming off bench as he has done this alot of his career. Maynor, milsap, allen, are FA's. thats where i would spend my money. Stuckey may can get you a late 1strd pick or hell keep him coming off bench. milsap, stuckey, maynor,JJ, off the bench would be pretty darn good.
