Pistons activate Slava Kravtsov
Vincent Goodwill of The Detroit News:
Slava Kravtsov is active tonight vs the Grizzlies…Austin Daye is sick and could be inactive
The Grizzlies have a few quality big men, so Kravtsov could definitely see a role tonight. Not sure whether he will, but it would at least make sense matchup-wise.

Chances are it will be a blowout (and not in the same way as the Suns game) so we might actually se him in action. It will be interesting …

Right. Like, perhaps they’ll put him in with 38 seconds to go in the first half. This is going to be great.

My hope is that Slava does something crazy like get 6 blocks and 6 fouls in 6 minutes just to see the message boards go crazy. A couple Grizzly flattening screens would be a bonus.

by FUCK FRANK'S PROCESS
the only time this guy gets in the game is when hamed haddadi gets in the game during a blowout.
I swear to god if frank decides to play maxiell over drummond against this frontcourt i have lost all respect for his process. Drummond and play against gasol and monroe vs z bo is almost a wash.

I think that Drummond needs to play a lot tonight, but I expect him to get a pretty severe wake-up call. The Grizzlies might have the best pair of big men in the game (especially with Pau not 100%). Frank just needs to let Drummond use all six of his fouls or else he’ll only be on the court for 12-15 minutes.
Playing Drummond a lot of minutes will just give him some good experience and I seem to remember hearing that experience is the best teacher.
I’d be thrilled if the Pistons can keep this game within single digits, so why not give Drummond a lot of exposure? Nothing wrong with that.
