Villanueva is shooting 1-for-10 this season, which puts him at 36 percent over this season and the 13 games he played in last season. He’s not an efficient scorer, and when you factor in his beyond awful defense, there is no justification for him to play any minutes.

Fair point about Knight not hitting his shots and I agree that he is doing a better job distributing the ball but he must work on limiting his turn overs. I still believe that he can learn to become a NBA point guard, Knight is still a very young player.

As far as CV, IMO we need his scoring ability on the floor. Starting no way but I can see CV getting 15 min per game and giving our team 10 -15 points off the bench. CV shooting ability could be used to space the floor which should help Sutckey, Knight, Monroe, and Drummond IMO.

You had me until you started advocating pt for CV.

I don’t think i would call Knights troubles a sophmore slump. A slump implies decreased production across the board. He’s actually been a lot better at distributing the ball. His game clearly shows improvement in terms of PG skills, he just hasnt been able to hit any of his shots.

Singlar had a bad night, but he is part of the young talent that is being developed for this team. Knight is having a sophomore slump and moving backwards My hope is that the coaching staff helps get him over this hump and back on track. JJ started the season very good, but lately his play is falling off, not sure if that is a result of the Kings game. Maggette is not an answer for this team he is just cape room for next season and I hope that Kim English is going hard at Maggette every day in practice and getting better.

If the team keeps playing like this Frank will be fired. I think we should then finish the season with one of the assistant coaches and get a real coach in the off season.

My HOPE is that we can trade Max and Daye and get a good PG or SG in return before the trade dead line. I like Max a lot as a PISTON but with him being gone it would open up a chance for Slava, Drummond, and CV to fight for playing time.

Oh dont mind that that’s just called real coaching, knowing what’s going on with matchups on the floor and making decisions that help your team win. It’s not the process basketball camp type of system coaches that we get as Pistons fans

Why can’t we just make a trade for a legit starting SG…That’s really what I want!..I agree with you that Maggette is injury prone, lol…

Maggette is old and injury prone. Do you want him to get injured again while facing up against the first string guys? or would you rather opt to your seemingly favorite player from last year Stuckey

Knight has regressed quite a bit.. Kemba is even playing better than he is this year (putting up a better stat line)

@Reaction: It doesn’t matter if Singler can sink a jump shot…Singler can’t do anything else!..The guy is a bum and it’s killing my Pistons image by him being in the starting line-up…I would rather start Maggette at the 2, at least he can play average defense…
