Greg Monroe, Tayshaun Prince, Brandon Knight, Rodney Stuckey on All-Star ballot
The NBA released its All-Star ballot today, and Brandon Knight, Rodney Stuckey, Tayshaun Prince and Greg Monroe are listed for the Pistons. I suppose it would have been surprising if any of those four didn’t make it, but it’s still a somewhat welcome sight.
Between both conferences, 120 players made the ballot. Ten teams had five players, ten had four, and ten had three. So, the Pistons are right in the middle – finally adequate in some regard this season.

Monroe’s only shot is being voted in by the coaches. The other three? It would be disrespectful to the all star game to have them play in it.
I would watch Knight in the skill challenge, for the laughs.

No all stars worthy in Detroit. Another reason for Drummond to get 25-30 PERIOD…. Hé has the one thing weve needed so desperately. A physical presence.

Monroe would’ve had a shot if not for the rule change. What center in the East is better? Varejao? Horford? Chandler? Lopez? Bargnani?
Now he has to contend with James, Melo, Garnett, Pierce, Bosh, Smoove, Deng, and West too. And short of injury, those first 5 are definitely in. That only leaves 3 spots for the rest to fight over (and 2 of those, they’ll have to fight with guards for, too).

Would love to see Tayshaun in the game. He had never been to a all star game before. Him and Monroe. hate Knight, and Stuckey is trash. New idea. Trade Stuckey for Rondo. any Support?

No, that was Ben, Sheed, Chauncey, Rip. Although, many though Tay was snubbed to avoid putting 5 Pistons on the team.

Oops, sorry, Rip was the other player, not Tay.
