orlando did something to work reddick free in the second half. singler did a great job on him in the first half, but it looked like he kept slipping away from singler in the second half. not sure what they did, but whatever it was, it worked.
coach did stay with the second unit too long, but i won't kill him for that. those guys need to learn how to keep and sustain a lead late in games. if they have to lose one like this for them to learn that lesson, so they can, so be it. that is how young players learn.
biggest gripe is, once again, the refusal to play drummond and monroe together. both guys seemed to be really ready to play tonight and it looked like it could have been a good night for them to pair up. big baby davis was manhandling monroe and maxiell and it would have been nice to have drummond's bulk in there when davis started throwing his bulk around.

Agreed. I like Stuckey off the bench, but I thought it was going to be with him at backup PG, taking Bynums spot in the rotation. By playing him at SG with Bynum, it doesn't matter if he's on the 1st or 2nd unit, the problem will be the same. Neither can shoot.

Stuckey needs to be playing PG with the 2nd unit, with English next to him. And Bynum needs to GTFO

looks like the 2nd unit needs to get used to each other. stuckey -19 singler +17... amazing stat.
i maintain that 10 more mins of Drummond, more English to defend hot guards... and less bynum will win more games.

i hear you...BUT no one said that Affalo was going to become the player he is now, most peopled called Riddick a lottery bust.... Im saying English have some of their traits.... Good defender, good shooter, can move without the ball, competive... the rest of his game will develop or wont develop..but its not Affalo or Riddick just entered the league and people were saying they are gonna shine in this league...

Get real they have always been better than him. And GREAT college players.
Calm down Kim is a second round pick that wasn't even the best player on his college team.
He really isn't a better ballplayer than Middleton honestly.

The big problem with this team except for Drummond none of the players in the last 4 drafts never had the make up of great defensive players when they where drafted. Defense and the lack of a scorer is a big problem for this team, and thats not really on Frank.

Redick was a lottery pick and NCAA Player of the Year. Afflalo was an All-American and first round pick. English wasn't even the best player on his college team. English's ceiling is solid reserve shooter/defender off the bench. I'd be shocked if he's anything more than that, and that's no knock on him. But very few players as good as Redick or Afflalo slip to the second round.

And Singler was +17.

I commend Stuckey for volunteering to come off the bench, but right now we can't win with him no matter where he plays.

Its time to trade him.
