Pistons-Knicks game in London confirmed for Jan. 17
News already broke on this over the summer, but the NBA has confirmed that the Detroit Pistons-New York Knicks game on Jan. 17 will indeed be in London. From NBA.com:
“The Pistons are excited to participate in the NBA London Live 2013,” said Dennis Mannion, President and CEO of Palace Sports & Entertainment and the Detroit Pistons. “Playing a regular-season game in London against the New York Knicks will provide a great experience for our players and we look forward to showcasing our brand of Hard, Smart and Together Detroit Basketball to fans on a global scale.”
I highly, highly suggest anyone who missed it over the summer go read the guest post that Gareth Masters, a Pistons fan in England, wrote for us about his excitement at getting to see his favorite team live. It’s a great read.

Yes! See you there. Great fun to watch a game live and not in the middle of the night or day(s) after. Haven’t done that since 1987!
Tickets will go on sale on Oct. 30 at http://www.theo2.co.uk.
