If Rodney Stuckey can't deliver consistency this year for Detroit look for them to spy out Oklahoma City's newly acquired Kevin Martin who has been renowned for his ability to score efficiently without the ball coming off screens and spread the floor. He has also averaged more than 20pts per game for multiple seasons with great efficiency. He could be great for the Pistons who haven't had someone like that at the 2-guard position since Rip Hamilton.
Tayshaun Prince needs to be replaced soon, but that can be best addressed in one last lottery draft year for Detroit. There will be many dynamic wings in this years draft that should position Detroit to return to prominence in the near future.

I don't think Frank is going anywhere, barring an unlikely massive collapse. Sure it's his "2nd" year as Detroit's coach, but no one should look at last year as truly indicative of a coach's performance. No training camp or preason and the back-to-back-to-back lockout shortened season. Plus he took over a team that was in pretty poor shape from a coaching (or any) perspective.

No one knows what kind of coach Frank is as far as winning seasons and playoff contention goes. What we should be looking for this season (and have seen a fair amount of since Frank took over last year) is how good Frank is at player development and coaching defense. If Drummond continue to exceed expectations, Monroe continues to grow, and Knight starts to become a true "point guard" (more assists, fewer TOs, and leadership) while the team's defense improves significantly that will be enough for me. I don't care about what the Piston's 2012-13 record ends up. To be honest, Detroit will be better off long term if they keep their draft pick this year (back in the lottery).

That's the bar, Lawrence Frank.
