Rasheed Wallace scrimmaging at Pistons’ practice facility

Keith Langlois of Pistons.com:

Extras for today’s run: Rasheed Wallace, ex-MSU Al Anagonye, ex-UM Chuck Bailey, ex-Oregon TaJuan Porter, Ex-BGSU Darnell Brown

Rasheed looks like he’s in pretty good shape, too … but don’t get any ideas. There’s no comeback talk.

Rasheed Wallace played for five NBA teams, including Boston after leaving Detroit. I don’t know where he lives now, but it’s interesting that he’s spending at least part of his time in Auburn Hills.

Man if only some of these scrimmages were on video, how cool would that be to see him showing Monroe and Drumond the 1′s and 2′s of the post game!?!?! Glad to hear former Pistons grooming the youngsters!

I’d LOVE for Sheed to join the Pistons in some capacity as a coach. Even more so than Big Ben.

Ben was a lead by example type of leader, but never seemed like a real vocal guy. Sheed is more of a teacher type of leader. I doubt it will happen anytime soon, but still nice to hear he’s back at the Palace. I have to think Monroe and Drummond picked up a few tips, assuming they were there with him.

I’d love to see the Wallaces V Moose and Drummond.
The young guys would learn a thing or two from them.

Obviously the biggest thing he could teach is how to play one on one post defense.  How to use your body and stand firm in the post.   If our Drummond and Monroe can pick up just that singular skill on I think that can translate to 8-10 wins alone.
