Pistons sign Kyle Singler
From the Detroit Pistons official Twitter feed:
In other news today, the #Pistons have signed @KyleSingler to a multi-year contract.

Like last night’s signing of Andre Drummond, this was an expected move. The Pistons still have two draft picks to sign in Khris Middleton and Kim English (assuming they are going to sign both) and have to figure out where to squeeze Ben Wallace onto the roster. Trades, not signing a draft pick or releasing someone are potential ways they can find that spot, but don’t expect the amnesty clause to be a realistic option. Vince Ellis of the Detroit Free Press reiterated that the Pistons will not use it this summer.

good news. Still curious to see how they get rid of the sf log jam.

Send Khris Middleton over seas for two years.

Khris Middleton was absolutely terrible today. There’s no way Joe Dumars would keep him on the roster over Wallace, or even Macklin

Singler and English are going to be solid NBA players. Both great 2nd round picks.

If this article is any indication of things going on behind the scenes, then maybe Joe D is in discussions with the Trailblazers and T-Wolves to facilitate the sign and trade of Batum.

The article says that they T-Wolves have contacted and unidentified 3rd team who would send a veteran SF to Portland to replace Batum. Can we say Tayshaun Prince…

Can you just leave Tay alone? He is still capable of playing in the NBA just like other teams he isa benefit to the team and not a liabiliiiiiiiiity. Maybe he won’t be able to play the whole game and guard the other teams best player all game but he can do good things on the floor. He still deserves to be a Detroit Piston because he can still play. You nerds need to shut up and leave that man alone. If Ben Wallace can attemp to come back and play Tay at his age is still good enough.
