Yeah, that Google translator messed up kinda bad. :) I’ll try and clean it up tomorrow if I remember. I’m not fluent in Spanish, but took it for four years in college and worked at different places for six years where I routinely worked with Hispanic people, so I may be able to get the message across better.

Bottom of the first paragraph should read “and hang up his sneakers” or something. Botas mean boots, but also cleats (as in soccer) and the phrase comes from when a soccer player retires.

The quote from the agent should read “He won’t play for now. We waited until he asked us, which I believe was June 12th, and he told us no. I’m not trying to pressure him or anything. Yes, he was the promoter of playing in this tour through Angola. And he did it in case he wasn’t going to play basketball anymore, he would have retired playing for the Argentine national team. If he decides to do it tomorrow, he’s absolutely suitable. One should respect the seasons.”
