Enjoy this dunk, courtesy of the Ben Wallace Pro-Am
Ordinarily, I would have no reason to post video of an amazing dunk by Division II guard Angelo Sharpless on a Detroit Pistons blog. Thankfully, though, he pulled off that highlight above in the Ben Wallace Summer Pro-Am in Richmond, Va., and that’s all the connection I need.
Oh, and speaking of Wallace, in this interview with CBS 6 in Virginia, he says he’s still considering a comeback:
Wallace has an option for one more year with the Pistons, where he has spent a majority of his career. It would be his 17th in the NBA, and he says he is “50-50? about coming back. A lot of it will depend on how he plays in his own league.
“I’ll be out here. How much of a player [he still is] remains to be seen!!”

Didn’t know where to put this but John Friel of Bleacher Report just called … you know what I’ll just post it here, too funny to let it pass:
“Joining an already young core consisting of Brandon Knight and Greg Monroe will be the intimidating presence of Andre Drummond, a solid perimeter threat in Khris Middleton and another young point guard in Kim English.”
