Brandon Knight hosting a youth basketball camp in Michigan

Detroit, MI- Only a few spots remain at the Brandon Knight Basketball ProCamp!

The two-day event is July 28th-29th at Home Court Advantage. Session 1 is from 9:00AM-12:00PM and is for children ages 7-11. Session 2 is from 1:00PM-4:00PM and is for children ages 12-18. Partners include TV 20 Detroit.

Knight will be on site to direct camp activities and provide instruction. He will be joined by a selection of the top prep and college coaches from the Detroit area.

The camp is open to boys and girls ages 7-18 and focuses on the team concept and fundamentals of basketball. Groups will be small to ensure that each camper gets personalized instruction. Knight will also give talks highlighting the finer points of the game of basketball and beyond.

Each camper receives a goodie bag with $75 worth of merchandise, including an autographed camp team photo with Knight and exclusive camp T-shirt.     Off topic but if there is any way that Detroit can clear at least a couple million in cap room, it is time to do it. At least put out an offer for Scola. Based on other amnestied guys, he probably will be picked up for well below his worth.

      On the off topic, I look at what Houston is doing and I’m so thankful our mediocre-but-improving roster is pretty much set. Once Houston’s GM gets done there will be nothing left but Dwight Howard and smoldering rubble. The fallout from this fool’s errand will haunt the Rockets for years.

    Looks like TV20 is getting back involved with pistons basketball thats good mabey a few games are coming soon!? I would like to see pistons basketball on a 2nd channel like it was back a few years ago.
