The dude is not even close to a star in the league. Why not take a shot at getting a star, something the team never had or maybe a player with at least some potential. The guys I would like them to take would be drummond, obviously. Barnes if he drops for whatever reason, terrance jones, perry jones or a wild card being Moultire. Like their portential way more than Leonard who will mostly likely be a good role player but not a future starter that the Pistons despertly need for the future, take a chance Joe. If this report is true, then they see him as a 4 which would necessitate them drafting a 5, which I concur with. He has trouble finishing over length and he still misses too many shots at the rim, playing against 4's may enable him to finish a higher % of his shots. If they went PF with the pick, Monroe would be forced into trying to be that his whole career, which would not end well. So it sounds like they have Drummond #1 and Leonard as the fall back plan #2, if Drummond doesn't fall. That's how I would play it too. Only thing is I want them to try hard to move up for Drummond, and not just be complacement at 9. If Drummond ends up being a star, and we had the chance to move up to get him, it'll be hard to root for Leonard instead, knowing we could've had Drummond.
