My opinion is that Perry Jones could either be the best or worst player the Pistons could possibly take at nine. Like I said, wouldn't be shocked to see him become a star, wouldn't be shocked to see him be the next Rodney White.

Yeah, but that doesn't really seem like the format of this. You're not expressing an opinion on who could go best or who could go worst, you're making a decision on who will be best and who will be worst.

The pistons arnt good at all and the only way they can get better is to not sighn a point guard, trade Prince, get a younger guy like Harden, dont get PG3 he is way over rated and will not be a NBA all star ever. get miles leonard because I am a big ten fan and i watches leonard boast huge numbers in the Big Ten this guy will add the d-fence, scoring and leadership that detroit needs on there team. Gregoire is wrong about PG3, Austin Daye is the future at small foward fo detroit.

Yes. I just meant that's how wide the variance is on what people who have watched Jones closely project.

It wouldn't be a total shock if he ended up being the best player in this draft. Few would be surprised if he ended up being the biggest bust.

If Drummond slips to 9 a lot of possibilities open up. Either we take him or we trade for 2 of Houstons picks including the 12th and go for Leonard and Perry Jones, who now will slip a few spots with his knee issues. A starting five of:

C - Leonard
PF - Monroe
SF - Perry Jones
SG - Stuckey
PG - Knight

looks very good to me!

I think that Houston is either getting a proven big man or they move up for Drummond. Houston is desperate for a center, and I just don't think Meyers Leonard is a suitable fill in if they miss out on Drummond. Their most likely back up plan is just take 3 players and stockpile assets. Morey has said multiple times his basic strategy is to add as many guys who have a shot to be good as possible to the team and see who pans out. Between that and with the depth of this draft in mind, why move up to 9 without getting Drummond? If Drummond is there, I doubt Dumars does the trade with Houston, so I just don't think Houston is a likely trade partner.

The raptors just drafted Valinciunas last year. they dont need a center after his "impressive" year in Europe

No Sactown Toronto and trades are all viable options to get Drummond

He's also medically red flagged now because of knee issues...that being said it doesn't sound too bad and I would certainly take him over Henson still. Too much upside
