The problem I have with Crowder is that he measured 6’3.75 without shoes, which means with shoes he’s only around 6’5 and that’s pretty short for a SF in the NBA. He may be tough but the last thing we need is another undersized player.

I love it. We need Jerebko as a big energetic 3 who can shoot. Let’s get some real size/length in the paint…

I’m actually happy to hear about it, as it seems to indicate the team sees a bigger role for him at the 3 than he’s had recently. Which may also indicate they’re quite serious about drafting big (which would seem obvious, except Langlois said a couple of times talent may come first).

A little nitpicky, but maybe it can give some hope. Lateral quickness isn’t a skill it’s a physical attribute, so in a conversation about skill-work the physical training doesn’t come up in that context. I’m assuming whatever workout plan Kander has for him will include speed and agility work, especially if he isn’t trying to bulk up.
