Well if you ask Stein, he will probably tell you he has been wrong before. If you so much as suggest that Jodi Jezz may have been wrong once upon a time, I believe that relegates you to not being a real NBA fan or something like that. So there’s one take on who you should believe.

Christian Laettner? Emeka Okafor? It doesn’t happen often, but it’s not unprecedented. Davis has a skill that they desperately need with Howard out — shot blocking. He’s a lock to be the No. 1 pick in the draft and he’s one of the best college prospects in the last 10 years or so. It’s not like they’re trying to put Tyler Zeller on the team or something. Whether Davis reaches his ceiling or not, he’s already a better shot blocker than just about any guy in the NBA.

When I say considered, I mean seriously considered to actually play for the USA team…Someone might have mentioned his name, but I highly doubt a player that hasn’t played a single Pro game is going to be picked to play for the USA Team…
