The difference is either of those guys could give us a great boost, whereas Sullinger is too similar to Monroe on both sides of the court to complement him well. I agree that at his best Drummond could be better for us, but given his lack of production, I think it's mostly wishful thinking that he'd come near his potential. I would never waste a top-3 pick on that when guys like MKG or T-Rob are available.

I have a speech impediment as well and i've seen every Darren Sproles interview on youtube. What an inspiration. I had no idea MKG has a stutter. I have even more respect now for the kid. It's a frustrating affliction, no doubt he's compensated by outworking everyone else. I know i'll be rooting for him even if the pistons don't luck into drafting him. If he develops a jump shot, he'll be a superstar.

I expect him to become a Crash/Iggy type player. A nice addition to any team. And a fantastic guy to have as your third best player. A bit of a low ceiling (definitely never gonna be top 10) for a 2nd pick overall, but that's the price you pay for a high floor.

Drummond over Robinson/MKG is like PJ3 over Sully. It's a risk, but it also has the greatest possible payoff.

I doubt he'll be available at 3. Unless another team really in need of a big gets the 2nd pick.

This guy is a winner, a culture changer, an insane athlete and oh he's still only 18.
Definitely the 2nd best prospect in the draft. If he can ever get a jumper he could be a top 10 player in the NBA. If given the chance I think the Pistons would draft him over anyone except Davis.

I think the only question with MKG is would you take him ahead of Robinson? I wouldn't, though it's close. And I certainly hope JoD wouldn't be stupid enough to take Drummond if he has a chance at one of those guys.

I doubt the Pistons would grab him if they slip into the Top 3 when either one of Drummond or Robinson is on the board. MKG is a nice prospect but the Pistons need a Shooter at the 3-Spot.

The bit about stuttering sort of tugs at my heartstrings.

I like the Pistons pretty well, but my real sports allegiance is to the Kansas State Wildcats. Darrin Sproles has also struggled with stuttering. Sproles--usually the smallest guy on the field in college and (certainly) in the pros has been one of the most effective and dynamic players in the game at both levels and his discomfort with the limelight has only made us Wildcats love him more.

So, yep...I want the Pistons to grab the #3 pick and take MKG.
