Greg Monroe receives Most Improved Player vote from J.A. Adande
Thirty of ESPN’s experts cast votes for Most Improved Player, and Greg Monroe received a nod from J.A. Adande. Chris Mannix of Sports Illustrated made the same choice, and although I didn’t, it’s nice to see Monroe get the recognition.

Great season from Monroe, but he doesn’t fit my model for MIP. I’ve always thought that there needs to be an element of surprise for the MIP.
Monroe was pretty close to being what we hoped/projected this year. Based on the way he played the last half of his rookie season, it was reasonable to expect a 15/10 sophomore campaign.
