I wanted to see Monroe on the court during crunchtime too, but Frank proved again (remember Lakers game for instance) that this year there's a new coach in town, and players must earn their minutes on the court. Monroe deffensive effort had been terrible so far in the game and offensively he had shot only seven times (!!!) and lost five balls. Wallace brought energy from the bench and played better imho. He outscored Monroe and was even perfect from the field (5/5).I like this effort-culture Frank has brought to the team. No matter who you are, you must earn your minutes (you could ask Daye or Bynum about that, lol) Monroe is mixing great games with dreadful ones lately, and I think this was one of the latter. In the long run, this philosophy will help our youngs to develop into great players if he can keep up with it.

Well for one, Greg had 5 turnovers, and lopez gortat and frye where shooting all him. But think about it, Greg was carrying the team when they were horrible so if he's a little burnt now I can't be mad at him. It 's time for the team to get his back for a little bit. I figured the Pistons would loose this one, playing the Suns is like playing the jazz , we don't match up well against them for some reason when they're home. I like our boys fight and chemistry though. They'er still a work in progress though. I hope the rest up and get motivated to beat the Clippers. I'll be there on Sunday. Yeeeah !

Sorry if I sound like a broken record, but why the heck is Greg on the bench? Did I miss something that would legitimately explain this? Or is Frank just benching him during crunchtime on a whim again?

Is Monroe hitting the little known sophomore wall? He was playing some fantastic ball through early February. Since then, his strong games appear to be only about one in three.

Over the last month, Stuckey actually looks like the best Piston. And he keeps going strong in full-on beast mode.

Prince looks to be more comfortable in his role as the fourth option too. Only taking 5 shots in the first half, making, four of them.

Knight and Stuckey look great! That 3 point shot by Stuckey was amazing! 17 for Stuckey and 14 for Knight man I love watching this back court play, can't wait til next season. It took some time but we're starting to gel and after the draft and a free agent or two we're gonna be good again.
It would be devastating now if Stuckey wasn't part of the team 3-4 years from now we need to hold on to him, Knight and Monroe and get better players around them and we'll compete for a playoff spot. Until then just going to have to be patient and hopefully win more games to build some confidence in the locker room

Knight is playing superb. Stuckey is playing well too.. Looks like they found their groove. Knight is realizing all he needs to do for assists is dish inside
