The pistons aren’t preparing for the future period they of made a deal involving sending Ben Gordon due to the fact no room on the roster for him due to being overpaid. The pistons are so selfish will bynum would make some team a great backup point guard, they could offer the rights to kyle singleton and at least got a much needed player or even draft pick or funds in return.

Completely agree.

A) McGee isn’t that smart, and he doesn’t listen. Watch him dribble the ball all the way up court sometime.
B) He’s still a young, athletic 7-footer. Not that the Wiz are the masters of wheeling and dealing, but even they aren’t going to give him up for pocket lint, which is what we have to offer them. He’s not worth any of our good, young players and they wouldn’t be interested in any of our expensive, old players, even if the numbers work. Yeah, I’d flip Max for him in a heartbeat, but they’re not that dumb.

I dunno ... Spears' source saying "they are asking for the world" is a lot different to me than "they are asking for Jason Maxiell."

Even if they only do want a starter, Maxiell is only a starter b/c the Pistons frontcourt is weak. On a good team, he's a reserve.
