listening to the wizards broadcast on the radio, and the announcers described detroit as “old” and not athletic. especially in contrast to the wizards.
a heckuva indictment for a team that is supposedly “rebuilding”.
the one good thing is that the announcers did indicate that detroit had been interested in javele mcgee – rick mahorn in an interview indicated the same thing – so at least they are thinking about some good moves.
but a very revealing set of comments from the wizards announcers as they blasted tay – they joked a couple of times about how slowly he moves – and ben wallace and the pistons lack of athleticism.
