very nice player and a guy who would help the team.
he reminds me of dennis rodman because of his ability to run the floor. rodman was one of the all time greats at getting up and down the court, and ratliffe has a bit of his style, though he is not quite as fluid or fast as rodman. when i first saw rodman as a rookie, he glided like an olympic athlete. ratliffe is not quite that smooth.
he won't solve the team's big man issues - the jj comparison is very apt - but it never hurts to acquire good young players.
he is the opposite of ezeli, in that the has a very nice soft touch around the hoop, while ezili has the touch of a bricklayer.
another guy who may move up from the second round to mid-first territory if mizzou has a deep tourney run and he excells.
guys like him are why it is imperative that joe dump some of his guys - tay, maxiell, gordon if they are lucky - and try to get another first rounder. there is going to be lottery-level talent available in the late first round this year.
