Well, too be fair, Kidd-Gilchrest does struggle with his outside shot... I'm kidding of course, at least in part since MKG is a poor 3 point shooter so far. None of those things listed are particularly untrue of Miller, and they could probably be said of DaJuan Summers as a college player. He is only commenting on Miller as a college player and not as a pro prospect since the question is what does Miller do for his team and not for his next team. The ability to do those things in college doesn't necessarily translate to the next level, which is why Miller is a second round pick. This is especially true since he is talking about a bench player. If I told you Jerebko had a great motor, showed great effort on the boards, defends both the 3 and 4 well, finishes well at the rim, and has 3 point range you might think he was awesome. I didn't lie about any of those things, Jerebko just does all those things at a level that makes him a bench player. So while he might be overselling Miller (which is to be expected of a guy who has some interest in the player in question), I don't feel like his analysis is actually questionable.

"Darius Miller has a rare combination of size and feel. He can pass, shoot with range, attack the rim, handle the ball in almost all situations and defend 3 or 4 spots."

Did Mr. Logan think he was supposed to give a scouting report on MKG? Because, if all that he said in that report were true, Miller should be a top-5 pick. I like Miller a lot, but let's not oversell what he is...which is a potentially solid rotation guy in the NBA who should probably be taken in the 2nd round.

good writeup.

I still prefer Jae Crowder a lot more as an SF, he's a MUCH better defender, he shot the same avg amount of 3s and only made 2% less of them than Darius Miller.

However, from Kentucky Doron Lamb is very intriquing as an SG... that guy is lights out from 3.
