A man can only be cut in half so many times. The ex is probably looking for an unreasonable settlement like most women and doesn't care about whether he is gong to survive. She'll probably live like a queen for the rest of her life without a thought for Rodman's suffering.
I still remember when Dennis was traded from the Pistons after being found in the parking lot with a gun in his mouth. I was so upset they traded him because I thought they should have rather treated him like family--he was naive and treated them that way and the trade was catastrophic in the sense that he would seemingly never find a group where he really fit in again. When someone in your family is in trouble, you don't just ship them away and try to selfishly do the best for yourself. Rodman's while life arch might have been different if the Pistons had persevered in offering him some stability and time with Chuck Daly who he treated like a father. I know basketball in the NBA is about economics and winning but I thought Davidson held things to a higher standard and the Rodman situation could have been handled a lot more delicately. I wish they had taken the opportunity to wrap their arms around him and bring him even closer into the fold.
And Sean Elliott was one of the most disappointing Pistons ever.

It's a damned shame but Dennis Rodman (like all of us) needs to face his demon's head on. Step 1 Quit drinking and partying. Step 2 Is up to him.

No matter what he’s done, his soul is still important.²
Though I doubt he realizes that he's important to anyone. I'll keep him on my prayers as well.

Can't feel bad for a guy who had tons of dollars in his hands and wasted them. He had all the opportunities in life at reach and simply threw them away. Only can feel bad for those who will never have the opportunities he was given, no matter how hard they work.

Man thats really sad. Proof that money and fame dont lead to happiness. only wisdom and righteousness. I'll try to remember to pray for him. No matter what he's done, his soul is still important.
