I guess it depends on how you go about your evaluation of players, but from what I’ve seen Knight has a ways to go to be better than Stuckey, and Stuckey has a ways to go to be good.

stuckey is as talented as knight. maybe more so.
he’s just not as smart, and doesn’t seem to have the BB IQ.
i really like stuckey as a player and think he gets a bum rap from lots of pistons fans.
i think he can be a very good player for the team if used correctly.
however, he’s pretty conclusively shown that he has a very low BB IQ.
not the worst thing in the world, but it just limits how you can use him.
because knight appears to have a higher BB IQ, even though he’s not really a better player, imho, he’ll have a better career.

If the question were “which is more likely to be an all-star,” I would’ve definitely backed Knight. But we know Stuckey will have a solid career. He will be a better than midlevel guy for many years. Knight is a total crapshoot. So I had to go with Stuckey.

When I voted, 87% were behind Brandon Knight, 12% were behind Rodney Stuckey.

I wish there was some way I could make bets with 87% of Pistons fans in an online sports book.
