I think the Celtics are in the same position the Pistons we were around about 2007-2008. Ainge doesn’t know whether to blow the team up now or not but i guarantee if he doesn’t do so soon then all those  assets he has in (Pierce, Garnett, Allen) will soon be wasted. If i was him i would be trading those guys to contenders for draft picks or expirings because if he doesn’t then he will be living Joe’s nightmare for the next 5 years and walking the mediocrity treadmill. Having said that what goes up must come down but i guess as a GM you can limit how hard/far you fall if you are wise about it.
