Three things to watch
1. Brandon Knight vs. Derrick Rose part two
Knight gets another chance to face the league’s reigning MVP tonight. Rodney Stuckey is still out, so Knight will likely see big minutes against Rose. Although Knight has struggled offensively of late, his sound defense has been a nice surprise this season. Trying to check Rose in starter’s minutes should be a good test for him.
2. Will they still get open shots?
The Bulls beat Detroit at the Palace, but didn’t do so by playing their trademark defense, giving the Pistons several uncontested looks that Detroit simply didn’t convert. The Bulls were thumped by Atlanta on Saturday, so with yesterday off, it’s a good bet they could take some frustrations out on the Pistons.
We all know things aren’t going so well this season. But let’s forget about those sorrows for a moment with some early season highlights:

Bulls started out 7-for-7, but nice recovery by Pistons’ d — 1-for-11 for Chicago to close quarter and two Will Bynum jumpers tie it after 1.

8 minutes into the second, Kyle Korver is out-scoring Detroit 6-5 in the quarter. Surprisingly though, bulls aren’t running away with it yet.

Give it time, they’re toying with us now

The Pistons played some good ball in the 3rd quarter.

Yeah, might be the best their offense has looked this year. Of course, that follows up the second quarter, when their offense was about as bad as it could look.

Fark Ben Gordon is getting owned by Chicago’s bench

Really disappointed Gordon and Daye couldn’t take advantage of Korver when he was in the game. Neither guy was very aggressive when he was on them in the first half. Daye is injured, so he gets a bit of a pass. No idea with Gordon.

You are correct, sir.
How unrealistic is it of me to think that when Monroe is not in foul trouble, he just shouldn’t get a rest and should be getting 40 minutes or more when they are in the game? They are so much worse without him,

I think we’d be seeing him approach 40 minutes more often if this weren’t such a compressed schedule this year.

Career assist night for Monroe.

Yeah, imagine if he was actually passing to players who could hit open shots. He might have 11 or 12 assists right now.

Crazy ending.

I started watching the game at the end of the end of the 3rd quarter with pistons down 5. They only scored 11 more points the rest of the way. They turned it over 12 times in that period so they actually had 1 more turnover.

Welcome to the Detroit Greg Monroe’s… More assists then all of our guards combined…… This is just pathetic.

Austin Daye is the invisible man. What is the injury? He is non-existent! What a disappointment.

He sprained his ankle on Friday.
