Well well i can see that a series of comments and conversations has been taking place since a year over here concerning the article! just 2 days ago the 33 years old player you guys are talking about scored 33 pts in one of the lebanese playoffs games and he’s averaging 25 pts a game. Fadi made Hedo Turkoglu look like a player barely playing in a Far Eastern or African league and same thing applies when the Lebanese National Team played against the Canadian National Team and French NationalTeam with presence of Diaw, Gelabale…etcin the world cup. We’re not saying that Fadi will go and stand up head to head vs Lebron or Kobe, however, he can easily be a perfect six man and an asset to any team.Unfortunately he wasnt luck enough to enter the NBA couple of years back, due to a contract he had with Hekmeh team. Like you guys are saying Fadi might not fit to play with Pistons as a formula . Btw talking about Lebanese players, Steve Kerr is orignally Lebanese as well as Rony Saikly. Rony played with the Lebanese National team and was waived from the NBA when he took this step…in all cases he was in mid of his 30s that time.

Al-Khatib if he wants to think like you guys, he will never think to come to NBA. I am astonished seeing some speaking shits. Anyway his family, and the project planning for is more important for him. Anyway al-Khatib was praised by Jordan himself, respect.

Im Half Lebanese and am a Chitown bulls fan.

Fadi is actually a decent player. Those who are calling him shit or a waste is a very bold statement. You may be judging where he comes from not on how he performs.
Yeah, Lebanon have struggled with race fights, wars etc etc im not gonna go into detail about it But this PLayer FADI EL KATIB is NBA material. Even though hes 32 years old it doesnt make him less of a player.

The great MJ even looked highly on Fadi. Even if he plays limited minutes like 20 minutes a game he culd be an asset. Dont judge becuase of age and nationality, Judge on individual peformance cause none of us here are better than the pros

i am lebanes,and i am a huge fan of fady el khatib ,he is an excellent player and in 2002 M.jordan said that he is one of the best players around and he invited him to train with him and a couple of other guys like ray allen,but in 2002 he was 20 and we have to be realistic he is 32 now and even if he wasn’t i don’t think he has the athleticism and the speed to be a major player in the nba and thats even when he was young ,but i think that nba teams should scoute players from lebanon because we r ranked 16 in the world and we havee really great talent and good youth players and some of them r playing in the ncaa so i hope we will c them in the nba
