Another trade that WE should pursue is:

Charlie V. to Houston for Thabeet and Patrick Patterson. This trade works finncially and potentially roster-wise. THe ROckets get a PF who can help them with their scoring, keeping up with their rivals in the Southwest Division and other Western Conference teams. Also, Houston rids themself of THabeet, a player and contract that it rather not have.

The Pistons get a 7'3" body that has a contract that comes off OUR books in 2012 and a player, who improves a little bit could be resign at a reasonable cost, presumably.

But, the gem in the trade is Patrick Patterson. This guy is a real PF. If the Piston had this kid on its roster starting at the PF position, the Pistons would see a team going forward.

If a trade of some significance is not made, the season is going to be worst than the previous two under the cluless, Kuester.

detroitpcb is on to something. WE should really get in touch with the Jazz folks about moving Ben G. for Millsap or my second choice, Jefferson.

Utah needs scoring punch from the "2" and WE need another SF (Millsap) or PF/C (Jefferson). WE will be the softess team in the history of the NBA without a move of the aforementioned sort.

Oh, Knight can really, really play; and resign Stuckey - quick!

Gordon is garbage. CV is less than Garbage.

Austin Daye still looks like a rookie in his 3rd year.

Knight looked awesome. Excellent pick. Monroe a little rusty, but loved the offense going through him in the low post, and still got his double-double basically.

Joe needs to go get Kris Humphries w/ the MLE. Or else we are screwed up front.

Monroe is good but cant take on 4 bigs from another team by himself.

Jerebko is not a big man. Maxiell is trash. Ben is at best Monroe's backup C. We need another real big man DESPARATELY

Daye should definitely be considered as our starting SG after his performance tonight. On top of being our best offensive player tonight he showed some defense (5 blocks) as well. He would be a problem for other guards to match up with cause he's 6'11 and he can dribble down the lane and hit 3's

Well we just played a 19 win team down to the wire. Tough to really judge just yet, since Tay, Body and Stuck didn't play, but we may actually have a worse roster than last season. That's the first impression I had watching early on. Defense looked much improved, but the personnel is a joke. Good thing Joe has no shortage of blind supporters or I think he might be sweating right about now.

We were dominated on the rebounding aspect of the game :l I'm liking the D but most of our front court were on 5 fouls, Gordon heated up a bit in the fourth but Daye proved more efficient, Monroe picked up from where he left off, we need help down low and rebounding wise, amnesty Villanueva, sign Dalembert, unload Maxiell and Gordon for a decent shooting guard, I hear Jackson wants out of Milwaukee but not sure how he'll take playing in a Pistons jersey at the Palace with Big Ben... Coach has a lot of work to do with this team...

yes rebounds will be an issue. We need another big. How about trading Ben Gordon for Milsap? when Max went out we started to really have trouble down low. Cleveland lived at the foul line. Austin Daye is Detroits best offensive player but he is still a little soft around the basket. He did chip in five blocks tonight and got a few rebounds.
