I would love to see them pick him up. I dont expect too much, but an actual center on the roster would be nice.

Dan and Patrick.. What % do you guys give that the Pistons sign Kyrylo Fesenko to a contract.. I would love this signing this kid is underrated and it'll be Joe D's best big man signing since McDyess......

you know what if Joe dont get that guy he has to get dampier you cant let size go to waste Damp is a Center that you can plug into the line-up quickly with no worries he can rebound and block shots and he's a reliable vet. The only thing that worries me about him is that he fouls alot.. so have your backup ready But I will def shoot for getting the young fella first

IDGAF if the guy cant dunk a donut into a cup of coffee he will be the best young defensive center we had since Ben Wallace. At 7'1 280 he has great size all we need him to do is block shots and grab rebounds this will help monroe out alot and will increase his scoring, and move JJ back to SF spot where I like him at anyway because he defends SF well. But they better hurry cause the eletes (Heat,Clippers) will pick him up asap and we all know he wouldnt mind playing for one of them warm climate winning states.

Heck no one is wearing #44 so sign him up. He played more defence last year than CV has in is life and i this is in limited minutes. You can tell he really cares about playing D and not letting anyone get any cheap points. He seems to have a crazy side too which we haven't had since Rodman or Sheed. To me every team needs a crazy guy.

I've got to believe we can offer the most money to this guy. Heat are only offering vet minimums and they are taking a flyer on Eddie Curry. Warriors just dropped 7 million on Kwame. Clippers got to be broke after Jordan, Butler, and Paul's contract. Offer this guy 3.5 million and that's probably a million more than he's getting offered anywhere else. Am I missing something? Do we not have a gaping hole at the five and barely over the soft cap?

NBA hipster.

In all seriousness though, I agree about the defense -- I don't think there should ever be room on a roster, especially a Pistons roster, for a player who plays anything less than above average defense unless his name is Steve Nash and he's younger than 35. Hopefully this guy, if we do somehow convince him to come to Detroit and play alongside Stuckey and Gordon over chillin' on South Beach with D-Wade and LeBron, can help reignite our defensive culture.

Remember the impact of the last guy who was a horrible free-throw shooter and offensive liability but played ridiculously solid defense?

Quite frankly, who cares?? Let me know when/if they actually sign him, then these kind of ads will become relevant to me. I hear too many rumors as it is.

No one is crazy enough to think that Fesenko could possibly be Gortat. Gortat is an above average starting C in this league. If he were getting a new contract this offseason, it would probably be $10M/yr. Fesenko may be worth picking up but not for more than Wilcox money.
