Gordon will be playing on the top of his game when he is receiving his 30+minutes a night after we trade Rip at the beginning of the season! You all are completely stupid if your expecting him to be that 18-21pt scorer when he has been receiving the lowest minutes since his rookie year in these last 2yrs...

It's really just a matter of this couldn't hurt and it could conceivably help so seems worth a try.

i just love the way sports opinionists misdiagnose problems. there isn't a change of scenery in the world that gordon's game wouldn't benefit from, but once the lockout is over, he's going to be back on this damn roster and utterly hopeless. it doesn't take a genius.

The reasons you guys list are a possible reason playing in Europe might actually help him. Guards in Europe are expected to be more well-rounded. Players would be more physical with him, he'd be expected to move without the ball more, etc. I'm not saying it would work miracles with his game, but at this point, the Pistons are invested in him for better or worse and the style of international play might help Gordon work on some of his weaknesses.

Plus, he has one of the lowest BB IQ's I've ever witnessed. His shot selection is mind-boggling. He just shoots whenever he feels like it, like he's shooting around with friends in his backyard, with no regard to the fact that there's an NBA game going on around him

I agree 100% on Gordon, Ryan. He will never be worth his contract. Even if he puts up the numbers he did in CHI, thats still not worth his contract.

He needs to be traded ASAP

Will this make him work harder on defense? Can they teach him how to dribble? When he's making shots he's helping the team, when he's not, he does little else. I saw him make a lot of unselfish passes over last season, but I think that has more to do with him being under contract for 5 seasons than anything else.

It's hard to blame Gordon for being Gordon. If he's not what Joe D wanted, I'd like to know what he thought he was going to get. Seems like the same guy as always, except he's not playing for a contract.
