god, please no. we already have at least two players who could replace him at the 3. i sincerely hope dumars continues to rebuild the right way and not maintain the theory that we can “retool, but still be competitive”.

Can’t complain too much about Budinger, Meks, Young, and Thornton. Summers was widely regarded as a better prospect than any of them. But Blair, what the heck? I remember that he was part of the series of players Langlois wrote up on as prospects for the 15th pick. I wonder how many GMs pissed off their fans by not drafting him. Had to be just about everyone starting at the 20th pick or so.

He was literally one of the worst players in the NBA last season. Good thing we passed on DeJuan Blair, Chase Budinger, Jodie Meeks, Sam Young and Marcus Thornton to draft this brainless dunce.

Slightly off-topic (but probably not because the DeJuan Blair fans will be reminded here that the Pistons took “The Wrong DaJuan”), but why didn’t Blair play against the Grizzlies? Was he hurt or was he DNP-Coach’s Decision?
