They won more games each and every year under Woodson.. Not saying he is my number one choice (Laimbeer is), but he is a CLOSE second... I will be more then happy hiring Woodson. IMO, all the second interview means is that Woodson is the guy Joe told Gores he liked. So, Gores sent his ppl in to check him out. Thats all it was, imo. With the hiring of Checketts and now the firing of Ostfeld, I think its becoming more clear who is in charge here, and thats Gores, Norment, and Wentworth. And thats a good thing, imo. So, just because Joe wants Woodson, doesnt mean a whole lot anymore, imo. Because ultimately, its going to be Gores' call.   Gores is no dummy. He did his homework on Joe and knows his strenghts/weaknesses as a GM. He knows he is not good at choosing coach's, and doesnt appear to trust his opinion, as evident by the hiring of Checketts. So, this 2nd interview just means Joe favors Woodson, but like I said, I dont think Joe's opinion matters anymore, when it comes to hiring a coach.
