Some readers have recently reported having problems viewing content at PistonPowered, with a red background rendering most content virtually unreadable. Thanks to a helpful tip from commenter nuetes, there’s an easy fix.

If you’re having trouble viewing the site, check to see if you have the AdBlock plugin enabled in your browser. If so, it’s relatively easy to add PistonPowered.com to the whitelist so that it’s disabled only when you visit here (though I’d encourage you to add other sites you trust to the list as well).

A quick Google search should give you all the details, but if you’re having trouble figuring it out, leave a comment on this post with your browser of choice and the name of the plugin you’re using and I’ll try to point you in the right direction.

We try our best to make AdBlock unnecessary here by keeping ads that are offensive or invasive off the site. If you ever see one you think falls into either category, don’t hesitate to bring it to our attention.

    Hey Graham,
Since this is your post, I’ll throw this comment here. Since you all are powered by WordPress, I’d request that you enable mobile viewing.
I do a great deal of my Pistons reading via mobile devices, and I can only see that increasing for me and other users in the future. Unfortunately, no browser on Android that I’ve used allows me to enter text into the text box at PP. This is the only WP blog for which this occurs.
    Anyway, just a constructive observation!

little late but i’ve been able to use the opera mini on android to enter text into the fields. very recently started allowing this. not sure if this is a change opera made to make it compatible or a change they made at PP. i agree a mobile viewing feature would be nice.

Thanks for the suggestion, guys. Along with fixing our periodic outages, this is my top priority for the site. We want to make it easy for you to view our content in as many ways as possible, and mobile viewing is definitely part of that.

Dumars loved Iverson his whole career too. Why are we so quick to give up on Knight, who’s a high IQ, mature kid players like to play with. Dumars loves the killer instinct guys, well you can’t have too many of them and they need to be the right player. Iverson would have proved to be a bust even had Dumars got him 4 yrs earlier like he tried. Jennings is a chucker. Knight is a willing ball mover who can create when necessary and space the floor. Dumars thinks you just need the right personality like Isiah had, killer instinct. Well Isiah was also a high efficient player who knew the game and guys wanted to play with. Iverson, Rondo, Jennings are not. Knight doesn’t need to be ball dominant to be good, in fact thats the reason I think he fits. He will let other guys do their thing and defer instead of force the issue every time… similar to Billups. I think moving Knight is a mistake right now, lets see how he progresses, he has talent.
